Basics of Palmistry for Beginners. What books on palmistry are best to study for beginners? Palmistry what literature

Palmistry is the ancient art of reading the lines on the palm to predict a person's fate.

Many people can learn this and have a pleasant time in an informal setting, “predicting” the fate of their friends and relatives, but this does not mean they can be called palmists. Not everyone can become a professional palm reader for a number of reasons. For example, it is not enough just to know chirology; you need to understand human psychology.

The palm reader has the greatest power and the greatest responsibility: he sees the future of a person by his hand. Therefore, he must be able to competently, accurately and carefully, based on the client’s personal qualities and his ability to perceive negative information, explain what he saw.

Just as not everyone is able to master any profession, so not everyone can be a good palmist. But you shouldn’t be upset, because no one forbids you to be just an amateur. For the sake of your pleasure, self-education and self-knowledge, palmistry can and should be practiced.

Basics of chirology

At the very beginning, you need to study the person’s hand itself: the skin, the shape of the palm, the length of the fingers, nails.

The appearance of a hand can say a lot about a person, just like the palm: what kind of character he has, his state of health, etc., for example, if his hands are pale with thin skin, you have a sensitive nature, subject to disturbances of the heart.

Then you should feel the bumps on the palm, there are nine of them:

  • Mount of Venus
  • two hillocks of Mars
  • Mount of Jupiter
  • Mount of Saturn
  • Mount of Apollo
  • Mount of Neptune
  • Mount of Mercury
  • Mount of the Moon

The presence or absence of these hills on the palm can tell a lot about a person’s personality. For example, the pronounced upper mount of Mars speaks of will and fighting qualities, but the second opposite mount of Mars indicates a strong level of patience. There are a lot of different subtleties in chirology.

After studying the bumps, you need to look at the lines on the person’s palm:

  1. life
  2. hearts
  3. health
  4. fate
  5. Apollo

Even by reading only the lines of life, heart and mind, you can give a complete picture of life from the palm of your hand.

Life line

There is an opinion that one can determine Its duration by the line of life, which is not entirely true. This line shows a person’s life path, events and changes of views. It can talk about a person’s state of health and his love for life.

Heart line

This line is responsible for a person’s emotional state. Some experts believe that it can also show heart disease as an organ. This line is very easy to find: it is located under the little finger and rises towards the middle and index fingers. Along this line you can determine a person’s ability to love.

Head (mind) line

Along this line one can judge a person’s mental abilities, his success in activities and professionalism. This line is located in the middle of the palm, deviating downward from the index finger to the little finger. When considering this line, you need to pay attention to its length and angle of inclination.

Line of fate

Along this line, you can say a lot about a person’s life and his future. This line may not be present in all people. The study of the life line should be done at the end, comparing the data obtained from other palms.

Health line

This line speaks of chronic human diseases. Many palmists believe that the absence of this line is an ideal case. Studying this is extremely difficult because it is subject to serious changes in a short period of time.

Apollo Line

This line speaks of a person’s self-esteem, achievements and success. How the client perceives himself, his self-confidence can be read along this line.

Chirology is a science that requires patience and time, is complex and specific.

This article presented the basic concepts of fortune telling, but this is not enough to become a real professional in this field. However, don’t be upset: you don’t have to be a real palmist to tell fortunes. Any person, after studying palmistry for some time, will be able to tell fortunes by his own hand or the hands of friends. This way we can better understand ourselves and the people around us.

It is worth remembering that life lines can change just like the person himself; the results of fortune telling at different periods of life can vary.

Palmistry is the practice of studying the essence of a person through palm reading. The lines on the palm and other symbols will tell you a lot about the character and even the fate of a person. Palmistry for beginners with explanations will help you read your hand correctly and get answers to questions that concern you.

Principles and essence of palmistry

The point of fortune telling is to read information from the hand about processes that have already begun to occur, but which will become noticeable to consciousness after months, years or even decades.

Depending on the type of “reading” of the hand, palmists study:

  • its various properties, including the shapes and lines of the palm and fingers;
  • shade and texture of skin and nails;
  • the shape of the joints and many other features of the hands.

It is important for those studying the basics of palmistry to interpret all the features of the palm as a whole. The main principle of fortune telling is the perception of what you see as a predisposition to certain events and actions. If you see a bad sign during fortune telling, you should analyze it in combination with other signs. It is worth preparing for what may happen, but not perceiving it as already happened.

Preliminary hand analysis

During the preliminary analysis, you should pay attention to the shape of the hands and fingers, the “hills” on the hands, their severity and size. Below is a breakdown of these signs with explanations and pictures.

Which hand should you use to guess?

There are no “female” and “male” hands, one of which should be used to guess. Both hands should be studied together in order to understand how similar they are. This is done to ensure the presence of a certain sign on both hands.

To do this, you should pay attention to some nuances:

  1. First of all, they tell fortunes using the “main” hand (usually the right). When a certain sign is present only on the right, this indicates the existence of a certain trend in a person’s life.
  2. When both hands are exactly the same, this means that a person has not developed in any way during life in relation to the starting point that heredity or nature gave him.

In some palmistry practices, it is believed that the “other hand” (for example, for a right-handed person - the left):

  • carries genetic or familial qualities;
  • information about philosophical beliefs;
  • talks about “past lives” and karma.

Palm shapes

Typically, hand shapes are divided into four or more basic types, sometimes corresponding to the classical elements (earth, air, water, fire) or temperaments (choleric, phlegmatic, etc.). It is believed that the shape of the hand indicates characteristic features corresponding to the specified personality type.

The dominant interpretation, however, is that there are seven different types of hands, which in some way relate to the seven races of mankind.

These seven types of hands are:

  • elementary or lowest type ("simple" hand);
  • practical (shovel-shaped) hand;
  • artistic (conical) hand;
  • practical (knotty) hand;
  • philosophical hand;
  • psychic (spiritual) hand;
  • mixed hand.

Artistic hand. Elementary hand. Shovel-shaped hand. Philosophical hand. Practical hand. Spiritual hand.

The shape of the palm will enhance those personality traits that are indicated by other characteristic hand traits. So, if the patterns on the palm reveal the creative nature of the person sitting in front of us, then the corresponding shape of the hand will emphasize it.

The science of fingers in palmistry

Fingers will help you learn a lot about a person’s character and aspirations:

  1. The index finger tells us about the owner’s ambitions and tendency towards tyranny. If this finger is unusually long and almost equal to the middle one, both tendencies are extremely pronounced.
  2. If the middle finger has a straight and regular shape, this indicates a serious and very obliging character. If a finger has a pronounced curvature, it belongs to a person with a precisely defined destiny, and this should be confirmed by other signs on the palm. In general, this is a bad sign, indicating a “crooked” fate, which, at the same time, is difficult to influence.
  3. The ring finger, if very long and straight, indicates an extraordinary desire for fame, celebrity, etc. Although this can be an extremely good quality for an actor, politician, or simply a public person, it is for someone who must keep secrets (family doctor, psychologist, lawyer), this is extremely undesirable.
  4. The little finger, if it is long, rising above the second phalanx of the ring finger, indicates eloquence and special subtlety in the presentation of thoughts. A short little finger shows the other side of what was said; the owner of such a finger has difficulty formulating his thoughts out loud.
  5. If the index and ring fingers are exactly the same length, this indicates a balanced mind (its emotional and analytical sides), but such a sign is quite rare.

Thus, a simple analysis of fingers can tell us, for example, that the person in front of us is ambitious, serious, vain and cunning, or, on the contrary, quiet, childish and simple.

Hills in the palm of your hand

These are tubercles on the surface of the palm that reflect the presence or absence of certain qualities, and also enhance their meaning if these qualities are expressed by other signs.

The study of the hills is associated with the qualities attributed to the seven luminaries, such as:

  • Venus - love, emotionality, passion;
  • Mars - love of life, courage;
  • Mercury - intelligence, abilities for science and trade;
  • Moon - romanticism, frivolity, imagination;
  • Sun - fruitfulness, success;
  • Jupiter - ambition, power, desire to dominate;
  • Saturn - thrifty, calm, serious.

Each of the hills can mean the presence of certain character traits:

  1. The Hill of Mars is located at the beginning of the life line and if it is large and clear enough, its owner has a pronounced warlike nature, which manifests itself in all areas of life.
  2. The Mount of Jupiter is located at the base of the index finger. When he is big, he demonstrates a desire for dominance, a desire to manage and command people, to lead and organize them.
  3. The Mount of Saturn is located at the base of the middle finger. A clear, well-defined hill tells us that a person is characterized by a love of solitude, thoughtfulness and calmness.
  4. The Mount of the Sun is located under the base of the ring finger, it is also called the Mount of Apollo. When large, it indicates an insatiable desire for primacy, and also indicates a desire for beauty in all aspects of life.
  5. The Mount of Mercury is located under the little finger. In combination with signs indicating a good character, this is a favorable sign, but on a hand belonging to an ambiguous nature, it enhances bad qualities such as greed and deceit.
  6. The Mount of the Moon is located under the Line of Mind. This hill is related to everything related to a poetic perception of the world, romance, desire for travel and changes in life.
  7. The part of the palm under the base of the thumb and inside the life line is called the Mount of Venus. When it is clearly expressed, but not too great, it denotes a desire for love and communication, a creative temperament, and this is usually very noticeable in the hands of many artists, singers and musicians.

Bracelets on wrists

Separately, “bracelets” have little meaning.

There can be up to three such lines on the wrist:

  • health;
  • wealth;
  • happiness.

The combination of all three lines is very rare.

Placement of bracelets on the wrist

Main lines

In palmistry, there are major and minor lines.

Main lines on the palm:

  • life;
  • mind (head);
  • hearts;
  • fate.

Main lines on the palm

The secondary lines are:

  • health;
  • children;
  • intuition;
  • some others.

Below are photos with descriptions of all these lines.

Watch a short video on the topic of the main lines on the hand from the Chiromantie channel.

Life line

The life line is perhaps the least easily “readable” line on the palm. It originates approximately midway between the thumb and index finger, goes around the hill of the thumb and descends to the wrist joint.

Life line location

The line does not describe life, but only the state of a person, his vital energy.

Traditionally, the life line reflects the main milestones:

  • key events;
  • physical state;
  • mental state and its consequences.

The length of the line is not tied to a person's life expectancy.

A “good” life line is smooth and clear; the more intersections it has with other lines and signs, the more unforeseen negative circumstances there are in a person’s fate.

A wide life line means the predominance of instincts in a person, a thin and clear line means willpower.

Heart line

The heart line is the first of the main lines considered by palmists. It symbolizes love and attraction, and also reflects a person's emotions.

The line is located at the top of the palm under the fingers. The more tortuous and intermittent it is, the more emotionally unintelligible a person is - he is characterized by inconstancy in relationships, he is capable of cheating.

Heart line location

The most obvious sign for prediction will be the intertwining of the lines of the heart and mind. It suggests that a person does not separate emotions from reason, which can mean recklessness, and, as a result, accidents, injuries, etc.

A “broken” heart line will tell you about a serious loss. With such a person you should be as careful as possible in your assessments so as not to hurt him.

Mind line

Location Features:

  1. This line starts from the edge of the palm under the index finger and runs along the palm to the wrist.
  2. Often the mind line begins in the same place as the life line.

Palmists usually interpret this line to determine:

  • a person's way of thinking;
  • ability to learn;
  • human forms of communication and thirst for knowledge;
  • dominance of a creative or analytical way of thinking;

An even, straight line speaks of a remarkable mind, while a crossed line even speaks of possible deviations in mental development.

The key point in analyzing the line of the Mind is the study of its curvatures, the lines crossing it or “coming out” of it. Any upward curvature from its usual location indicates that the person is subjected to unusually stressful circumstances. Simply symbolizing the fact that the mind had to “dodge” in order to overcome certain difficulties.

Mind line location

Line of fate

Most of the lines on the hand have a beginning, but the fate line does not have a specific point from which it begins. One way or another, it goes to the middle finger. It is believed that it reflects a person’s path, including commitment to certain interests, profession, and also speaks about his successes and failures.

This line is still not well studied. There are people for whom the line of fate exactly repeats all the turns of life, and there are those for whom it reflects only the main thing. There are also those whose fate line says nothing. This line is subject to the most in-depth study, and beginners should not make fateful decisions regarding the person for whom they are telling fortunes based on this line.

Fate line location

Wealth lines

Wealth lines are not considered in the European school of palmistry. Here we study a set of signs by which the possible well-being of the owner can be determined. However, in the Chinese tradition they exist. These are vertical lines located under the ring finger.

If there are many lines, and they are clear and straight, this should indicate that their owner can make good money. Wavy money lines are believed to indicate that money matters are unstable and will be very difficult to correct.

Wealth Line Location

Children's line

The lines relating to children are thinly marked vertical lines located directly above the Family Line. To see them, the easiest way is to press on this part of the hand with your fingertips. Then figure out which of these small lines stands out most clearly.

The video from the Astro - prorok channel presents a lesson on palmistry for beginners with explanations.

Sometimes they are deeply marked, but in many cases it is necessary to use a magnifying glass to examine them. Wide and deep lines represent sons, thin and narrow lines represent daughters.

Location of children's lines

Hidden ability line

The line of hidden abilities (intuition) is rarely found in ordinary people, but often manifests itself in philosophers and psychics. This line should form a semicircle starting on the surface of the Mount of Mercury and continuing to the surface of the Mount of the Moon.

In any case, the presence of this line in the palm indicates developed intuition and the possible ability to predict the future. Very often, owners of intuition lines have prophetic dreams.

Health line

The health line is the most susceptible to change, since it directly reflects the state of a person’s health at the current period of time.

Usually the health line begins at the Mount of Mercury and goes towards the life line. What’s interesting is that it is the curved line of health that speaks of its strength, as if showing the flexibility of the body’s defense systems. Sometimes this line may be completely absent - this is a good sign, indicating a strong constitution and a healthy nervous system.

Additional symbols on hands

These symbols are sometimes of utmost importance.

Star - pentagram

Each point (vertex of the star) represents an element:

  • Earth;
  • air;
  • fire;
  • water;

Palmists decipher this sign this way:

  1. A vertical pentagram (one point up) shows a commitment primarily to spirituality, since the fifth element (Spirit) is directed upward.
  2. An inverted pentagram (two points up) indicates spirituality, located at the very bottom and thus playing a minimal role.

Pentagram on the palm

Quadrangle

The quadrangle is located between the lines of the mind and heart.

Features of interpretation:

  1. To be considered a clear sign, it must not taper towards any of its sides.
  2. If it looks “correct,” it denotes prudence, balance in all things, and is generally an excellent sign.
  3. Excessively narrow indicates narrow-mindedness.
  4. Extremely broad, on the contrary, indicates unclear judgment and weak beliefs. Sometimes it’s due to the lack of one’s own position in principle or exposure to other people’s opinions.

Quadrangle - designated as sector "A"

Triangle

The large triangle is formed by the lines of mind, life and health. The larger this triangle, the better your health will be and your outlook on life will also be broader. Only when in this figure the life line is long, the mind line is smooth, and the health line is clear, we can talk about the presence of all three factors of happiness in a person’s life. If the upper angle (between the lines of mind and life) is acute, the person turns out to be nervous, timid and sensitive.

Quadrangle (1) and triangle (2) on the palm

Ring of Apollo

The circle (ring) on the Mount of Apollo represents a sign of misfortune. This sign is a harbinger of difficult times, especially if it is wide and extends onto any other hill. This ring is an important mark on the hand, as its presence means that the person needs family support throughout his life.

The lines on the hands of each person are individual. And often beginners have to deal with various difficulties in position and on the hand. Palmistry with explanations for beginners will help you not to get confused in decoding. Here are the answers to the main questions that concern amateurs and professionals.

Where to begin

Very often the lines on the right and left hands do not match or are present only on one palm. Also in palmistry there are main and additional lines that will help you understand where to start with the interpretation. Palmists advise starting the interpretation with the main lines and hills. But first you need to decide how to choose the right hand for fortune telling.

Palmistry: which hand to use to tell fortunes

Usually fortune tellers choose the most active hand for fortune telling. For right-handers it is on the right, for left-handers it is on the left. However, some ancient sources write that fate must be determined with both hands, and there is an explanation for this. The left hand shows what cannot be changed, that is, fate, the right hand shows what depends on the person himself. On the left hand is the past, on the right is the future. However, for beginners, palmistry prescribes the following regarding which hand to use to tell fortunes - choose the one that the person most often uses when carrying out any actions. The right one is also active in those with two hands - those who, by virtue of nature or profession, can equally perform actions with both hands. There are many such people among musicians, dancers, conductors and many others.

It is best to tell fortunes using your right hand, as it shows what you can change. But, if you are left-handed, it is better to offer a prediction based on your left hand.

Palmistry: main lines

Life line starts from the extension of the index finger and goes down, creating a circle in the palm. Pay attention to its length, clarity, breaks, intersections. For some people it is duplicated.

A clear and long life line means good health, long life and the absence of various dangers, disasters and diseases that threaten human existence. Poorly outlined, it shows the fragility of a person, his instability to life’s difficulties and problems. If it is long, then, despite poor health, the person will live a very long time. A broken line can mean an accident, coma or mental illness, as well as sudden changes in lifestyle to “before” and “after”.

Another line, which is considered one of the main ones, is heart line. It begins under the hill at the base of the little finger and shows the sensual and emotional state of a person. For people who are accustomed to living by reason, it is usually short and does not determine a person’s life. A long and clear heart line shows a very emotional person, capable of unreasonable actions, illogical decisions and even stupidity. If it is crossed by small lines, then a person’s life will be full of stress, shock and anxiety. An island on this line or a cutting break indicates a risk of stroke.

The next main symbol is the line of the mind. It shows the human mind, his thinking. Well-drawn means a clear mind, that a person in life is guided by reason and not by feelings (especially if the line of the heart is intermittent and inaccurately expressed). A sharp break in the line of the mind means the danger of a stroke or head injury. Also, a split line of the mind means madness in old age or the fact that at one moment a reasonable person will commit madness under the influence of life circumstances.

Palmistry interprets the main lines in detail, since they are considered the most important, providing information about the main guidelines of a person’s life.

Signs of wealth on the hand: palmistry

At the base of the ring finger there is the Mount of the Sun or Apollo. There are several lines on it that indicate the presence of luck and wealth. However, there are other signs that indicate a person’s material achievements. These include:

The so-called “Wealth Triangle”. If the line of fate crosses the line of the mind in the palm and there is another line to the line of the heart, forming a closed triangle, this means the person’s wealth.

The line of fate crosses the line of life at the base - the person will be rich.

The head line crosses the Mount of Mercury - you can earn a lot with your abilities.

If there are other signs of wealth and financial luck on the hand, which palmistry gives accurate interpretations. However, they need to be explained in conjunction with other signs and lines.

Palmistry bracelets on the wrist: meaning

Most often they show the continuation of the life line. Palmistry explains that bracelets on the right or left wrist reflect the level of health of a person, his years of life and capabilities. Some interpretation books write that their number means children. Convex bracelets show boys, concave or straight bracelets show girls.

Palmistry: triangle on the palm

They are rarely found on the palm. However, most often they show a person’s success, except for the triangle of death, located at the intersection of the line of life, fate and mind. Pyramids on the Mount of Venus mean the number of children in a marriage, as well as happiness with a pronounced fate line.

In addition, palmistry interprets the triangle on each palm as a sign of a special mission, destiny. Its presence on the life line can mean a high point.

Palmistry: line of the Sun

Shows a person’s bright talent and his stellar future. It is located on the edge of the palm and crosses the line of the heart. It means that a person has a rare talent and will be successful. Also, palmistry interprets the line of Apollo or the Sun at the intersection with the vertical of fate as a sign of higher destiny and a rare gift, calling. However, its absence does not mean that a person will not have luck. It’s just that some lines are not indicated on the palm - this is an indicator that a person is led not by fate, but by himself. And in the absence of the Sun line, he will be able to achieve success through his own efforts.

Palmistry also notes line of intuition. Forms an arc from the Mount of Mercury to the base of the palm. Not all people have it. It can show a person’s rare gift of premonition, the ability to guess events and circumstances, as well as his talent in mysticism, psychology, and psychiatry.

Palmistry: marriage line

It is located on the edge of the palm and consists of one or more lines. It means the number of marriages, and in some interpretations – children. However, if it is not in the palm of your hand, do not worry - palmistry considers the line of marriage and marriage to be auxiliary. Its absence does not mean celibacy or that you will not have children. It's just that in some cases marriage will not play a decisive role in your life. In some books, the interpretation of marriage lines means the number of children out of wedlock. If the lines of marriage or marriage cross the Mount of Mercury or the line of the mind, then the marriage in your life will be of convenience. At the intersection with the line of fate or heart, the marriage line means a desired child, and also a union of love. If the marriage line bifurcates, then soon you will face a divorce by mutual consent. Crossing may mean an accident or a sudden departure of a husband or wife from the family.

In palmistry, the marriage lines of a husband and wife on their right hands are interpreted. If they do not match, then this means the birth of children out of wedlock or the re-creation of a family by one of them.

Palmistry with explanations for beginners advises starting fortune telling with the main lines and hills. Then you can get a lot of interesting and educational things.

One of the most exciting activities and entertainment. The first mention of palmistry dates back to 2000 BC. e. Palmistry is a Greek word translated as fortune telling or prediction by hand. In the Middle Ages, palmistry was considered a science, and today interest in palmistry has not faded away. Each person has his own destiny, which is encrypted on the palm in the form of lines.

Richard Webster believes that the ability to read human destiny from the palm of your hand is just knowledge, experience and logical thinking, and not some otherworldly phenomena.

It is a developing science, accessible to those who know how to think and analyze. Fortune telling by hand does not require knowledge in medicine or any other sciences, so it can be practiced by anyone.

LIFE LINE.

The longer the life line is clearly expressed in the palm, the more resilient and energetic the person is. The life line is the main line, an indicator of our vital activity. It’s good when it’s strong and healthy, clearly defined. When the life line begins at the edge of the palm, this indicates decisiveness of character; if it begins in the form of a chain, it is too dependent on others.

When at the very beginning the life line connects with the head line, the longer the combined segment, the more cautious, sensitive and unconfident the person is. Such people achieve little in life.

If people have a short life span, they may well live to old age, they just do not have physical endurance.

If a thin parallel line runs with the life line, this sister line is a favorable sign.

She is considered the line's guardian angel. For especially lucky people, it runs along the entire length of the life line. Breaks in the life line often indicate changes in life. Lines running from the base of the thumb to the line of life and intersecting it are lines of anxiety and stress.

There can be serious trouble if the life line connects with the line of the head and heart, in which case a fatal outcome is possible. A life line not connected to the head line speaks of early development and determination; these are often very gifted people.

HEART LINE.

The heart line governs our emotions. The line of the heart shows how a person sympathizes with loved ones and people in general. The character and temperament, the state of the cardiovascular system are examined. The more tortuous the heart line, the more emotional the person is. A weak heart line indicates a sensitive nature.

If the heart line is low, then the person is capable of deep feelings. The shorter the heart line and the higher it is located, the less ability a person has to express his feelings physically.

People differ in their spiritual and physical heart lines. The physical line of the heart ends between the middle and index fingers, or at the base of one of them. The spiritual line of the heart runs parallel to the base of the fingers. People with a physical heart line know how to love and express their feelings, easily endure the blows of fate and do not become depressed. People with a spiritual heart line have increased sensitivity. Such people always strive for communication and always try to maintain inner freedom. People whose heart line ends at the base of the index finger are very demanding about their personal lives. The higher the line of the heart rises on the hill of Jupiter, the more branches, the better for a person, this means wealth, success, recognition.

If the heart line connects with the head line and the life line, a fatal outcome is possible, murder out of jealousy. A heart line running high indicates an impetuous, jealous person.

The heart line is clear, red - nobility, generosity. Deep red – passionate love, sensuality. Without branches - dry heart. Intersection of secondary lines is deception in love. If there is a double line, then this indicates that this person will be very devoted in marriage.

HEAD LINE

The head line is the most important line on the hand. The head line indicates the strength of our thinking, the degree of development of intelligence. It starts between the bases of the thumb and index fingers, then crosses the palm and ends approximately under the ring finger. The longer the line of the mind, the broader and more complex a person thinks, the more developed the intellect. The line of the head, crossing the palm all the way to the edge of the palm, speaks of the ability to foresee events and insight. With a short line of mind, a person is little inclined to analysis.

The branched end of the line of the mind speaks of a person’s creativity and ability to come up with original ideas. Often the branching line of the mind is called a writer's fork. An independent way of thinking is in a person who has a line of mind far from the line of life. If the line of mind and the line of life merge, this person is not able to make decisions independently.

The contact of the head line with the life line indicates caution. The line of mind and the line of life, located nearby, indicate the independence of a person’s thinking. If the line of the mind begins at the index finger, then such a person is very dependent in his thoughts and actions. A weak and unstable line means nervousness and slowness.

A broken head line indicates poor memory and poor attention, as a rule, weak intellectual abilities. A thin long line - infidelity, frivolity. A wide, colorless line means imprudence, hot temper, bitterness. A head line consisting of small lines means poor memory and headaches. Deep line – intelligence, power, concentration. The deep red line is obsession, the ability to commit cruelty. Pink line - the person is intelligent

LINE OF FATE.

The line of fate is one of the main lines on the hand. It provides information about a person’s work activity and career growth, and speaks of upcoming success.

In general, the presence of a fate line allows you to make the right decisions.

The line above the wrist line, rising up to the middle finger is the line of fate. The line of fate can be pronounced or weakly expressed. It may be located on a small area of the palm, or may be absent altogether. A long line of fate stretching towards the middle finger speaks of a person’s independence and determination.

If the fate line has breaks, then this indicates that the person will often change professions. For independent people, the fate line often begins in the middle of the palm. If the line of fate ends at the Mount of Jupiter, it means that a person will experience material success, wealth, and honors. If the line of fate ends at the ring finger, the Mount of Apollo, then a person will achieve his goal in everything, it is worth doing creativity. If the line of fate ends at the little finger, the Mount of Mercury, it is a bad sign. Ruin, failures, but these people are sociable; they need to have a profession with these inclinations.

If the end of the fate line bifurcates or has a triple branch, this is a good sign.

A person will receive joy and pleasure from life.

The presence of a long line of fate indicates a person’s longevity.

If the line runs from the edge of the palm to the line of fate, then its presence indicates parapsychological abilities and an increased interest in everything mystical.

If the line of intuition is directed to the line of fate, this person has the ability to clairvoyance and prophecy. If the line of intuition is directed to the line of the mind - the ability to heal.

LINE OF ATTACHMENT.

They are located on the edge of the palm. Sometimes these lines determine the number of marriages or heartfelt affections in life.

The lines of children are located under the little finger, they often indicate the possible number of children,

since with modern medicine their number can be controlled.

TRAVEL LINE

Travel lines are used by people seeking changes in life. These are several horizontal lines originating at the edge of the palm; the owners of these lines love to travel.

MONEY LINE

The money line runs from the life line to the base of a hill. If the life line faces the Mount of Jupiter, then the person earns money as a result of career growth. If the money line appears on the Mount of Saturn, then hard work awaits. If the money line turns to the Mount of Apollo, the person will receive money easily, even possibly win it. If the money line is directed to the Mount of Mercury, then such a person earns money with his head. With the help of creativity and in business.

Ring of Venus

The line begins between the fingers of Jupiter - Saturn and ends between the fingers of the Sun and Mercury. The ring of Venus means the ring of love. People are sensitive, sublime. If the line breaks, they are hysterical. If the line is double, they are prone to intimate joys and wicked pleasures.

HEALTH LINE

The health line starts from the life line, goes to the little finger and ends at its base. If the health line is long, then this indicates that he is a long-liver

If the health line is absent on the hand, then the person is interested in material values and such a person is not subject to stress.

MYSTIC CROSS

The cross, which is located between the line of the heart and the line of the head, that is, in a large quadrangle, is called mystical. Holders of such a cross have abilities in mystical sciences.

SIGNS

Often you can see various signs on the palm and lines of the hand. Somewhere we see crosses, somewhere islands, sometimes squares, stars, bars. Each of these signs, as has been noted, carries a semantic meaning.

The lattice is an unfavorable sign. Indicates that the circumstances are not clear and things are confused

Crosses on the main lines are unfavorable. They talk about upcoming problems, and the cross in the quadrangle speaks of a person’s superpowers.

Squares are a sign of protection. Someone cares about you and helps you in difficult moments of life.

A star, three intersecting lines are a good sign. A joyful event will appear in your life. The star lights the way.

Islands are a line that splits into two and then joins again into one, thus forming an island. The sign is not good, it speaks of loneliness, problems, nervous breakdowns, depression. Small lines crossing the line of the mind indicate frequent headaches. Islands on the life line speak of depression and health problems.

Preface

The science and art of predicting the future using lines and signs on the palm is as old as civilization itself. Palmistry is usually understood as a technique for determining the character, mental properties, psychological inclinations and probable events in a person’s life based on the study of lines and signs on his palm. The word palmistry comes from the Greek terms chiros (hand) and manteia (prediction). This is predicting the future and interpreting present events through the study of the palm. In the science and art of palmistry, there are many contradictions in the interpretation of various lines and features of the palms, which is explained by different schools of palmistry. However, all the contradictions in interpretations turn out to be not so significant, because the most important thing is the result of predictions, and the final result of any chirological experiments carried out usually coincides.

Palmistry as a type of art was studied by the greatest minds of history - Aristotle, Plato, Pythagoras, Carl Jung and many others. Thanks to this ancient teaching, many people have found new meaning in the world around them and looked at their lives differently.

The science of hand reading includes two areas: chirognomy, which deals with the external shape of the hand and fingers and describes hereditary traits and temperament, and palmistry itself. Palmistry interprets the lines and signs on the hand, determining the past and predicting future events in a person's life.

Knowledge of simple principles that will allow you to master the effective method of palmistry will make it easier to comprehend the language of signs on your hands, having mastered which you will be able to make positive changes in your life and the lives of people close to you.

In an effort to penetrate the depths of the human soul, discover hidden contradictions in the psyche, and help people start a new life with a new vision of their potential, it is necessary to understand the basics of understanding the meaning of life.

This book is based on ancient manuscripts on palmistry, which have proven their effectiveness over the centuries, as well as the developments of modern researchers. Only flawlessly operating factors of predictive science were selected with a focus on the practical application of palmistry. It should be noted that common interpretations of the signs and lines of the palm, as well as their names, may vary slightly among different palmists; Traditional names and designations are used in this manual.

History of Palmistry

The practice of palmistry is widespread throughout the world, undergoing all kinds of cultural changes, it confidently moves around the world. Those who practice palmistry are called palmists, or chirologists.

Palmistry has been practiced since time immemorial; there are known manuals on reading hand lines published in India, Tibet, China, Persia, Ancient Israel, and Babylon.

During the Middle Ages, the art of palmistry was actively suppressed by the Catholic Church as a pagan superstition.

During the Renaissance, palmistry was classified as one of the seven “forbidden arts” along with necromancy (a method of fortune telling that involves communicating with the souls of the dead), geomancy (fortune telling using the earth), aeromancy (fortune telling by aerial phenomena - the sky, clouds, comets, meteors, rainbows, halos around the Moon, air currents and other atmospheric phenomena), pyromancy (divination using fire), hydromancy (divination using water) and spathulamancy (divination using sheep's shoulder blades).

Among the Indian sages who recognized this art were Garga, Gautama, Bharavaja, Agastya, Bhrigu, Atri and Kashyapa. The Puranas say that palmistry was used by the divine sage Narada. It is known that approximately 4-5 thousand years ago Maharishi Valmiki wrote a book called “The Teaching of Maharishi Valmiki on Male Palmistry,” which consisted of 567 stanzas.

One of the first mentions of palmistry is found in Valmiki's poem "Ramayana". The great astronomer Varahamihira writes about palmistry in his famous book Brihat Samhita. In India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, many ancient manuscripts dedicated to this art have been preserved. The guardians of the manuscripts cherish them as if they were a real treasure. Some are written on palm leaves, and others on copper sheets. Some of the famous ancient books on palmistry that are available today include Samudrika Shastra, Ravana Samhita and Hastha Sanjevani.

From India, the art of fortune telling by hand spread to China, Tibet, Egypt, Persia and European countries. In China, palmistry became known around 3000 BC. e. It was widely developed in Greece, where Anaxagoras practiced it in 432 BC. e. Other scientists, such as Aristotle, Pliny, Paracelsus and Cardamis, as well as the Roman emperor Augustus and the philosopher Albertus Magnus, mention it in their writings.

The great palmist was Adrien Adolphe Debarrol (1801–1886), a student of Adolphe Henze, the famous German author and founder of graphology. Debarrol wrote his famous book “Secrets of the Hand” (“Les Mystères de la Main”, Paris, 1859). It was followed by writings on palmistry by other authors such as Hansburg S. Dorpantek, Count St. Germain, Louis Cotton, A. R. Craig, I. B. Dale, G. W. Gressmann, Eliza Easter-Henderson and R. R. Chatterjee. In 1897, Count Saint-Germain founded the American Chirological Society. The first monthly illustrated magazine in Russia, “Questions of Palmistry and Hypnotism,” was published in Moscow in 1912–1914.

Recently, palmists from Germany, France, England, Italy and India have become especially famous. The Irish Earl Louis Hayman, known as Hero, and W. J. Benham substantiated the scientific approach to palmistry. Noel Jacquet examined the ridges on the palm and opened a new page in the history of palmistry.

Cyrus Abayakun, a renowned astrologer and palmist, discovered an ancient Indian palmistry text engraved on copper plates in Sri Lanka. Other famous authors who write about palmistry include Dr. Charlotte Woolf, Fred Greetings, Heron Allen Edward, Mir Bashir and Mihiracharya.

In the modern era, palmistry is experiencing something of a revival. Attempts are being made to promote and systematize it. Modern palmistry is a science that does not deal with predicting the future, but rather is positioned as one of the ways for a person to know himself. Libraries of books, manuals and scientific papers have been published about the lines and signs on the palms; stable relationships have been discovered between the characteristics of a person’s hand and his psychological appearance, congenital diseases, possible professional and sports achievements, hidden talents, and destiny in terms of choosing a life partner.

Secrets of genetics

The most important patterns on the palm, formed by numerous skin ridges, are called by palmists the lines of the Head, heart, life and destiny (in medicine they are also known as “curved skin folds”). These patterns are formed in a person while still in the mother’s womb and become visible at the 12th week of fetal development. At this time, prenatal testosterone, which has no effect on the fetus during the first third of pregnancy, begins to affect the developing neurological system of the brain. At the same time, testosterone stimulates nerve growth factor, which affects the body's nervous system, as well as epidermal growth factor, which affects the skin.

Spectrograms of the first 12–14 weeks of fetal development demonstrate the presence of not only critical lines on the palms, but also skin ridge patterns, including fingerprints. Consequently, many personality characteristics and temperamental properties of a person are formed long before he takes his first breath.

Inherited genes can influence personality traits such as extraversion or introversion, peacefulness or irritability, conscientiousness or carelessness, emotional stability or excitability, openness or closedness to new experiences. These human traits are universal in nature because they can be directly related to human survival.

Genetically determined traits are manifested not only in temperament. They determine a person’s predisposition to baldness, his height and shape, or his susceptibility to certain diseases. The results of modern genetic research suggest that people have an innate predisposition to certain types of cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and certain birth defects.

The existence of many health disorders is indicated by marks and lines on the palms.

Studying the lines of the hand reveals the influence of genes. According to scientists, innate traits that ensure the survival of a species are passed on from generation to generation. Such heredity is often supplemented and perfected by sons and daughters who marry people who have similar personality traits. Research shows that from early childhood, people prioritize stimulating and compatible environments in areas such as sports, academics and personal relationships.

Scientists point out that the same external environmental influences on children from the same family do not make them absolutely the same. Each child has its own distinct personality characteristics, and parents can only slightly change them.

Each cell of the human body contains 23 pairs of chromosomes. Studying the lines of the hand reveals the influence of genes containing information about literally everything: from eye color to a tendency to baldness, from agreeableness to aggressiveness. However, most characteristics depend on more than one gene or gene pair. Under normal conditions, dominant genes dominate over recessive genes. A person’s genotype is the real genetic message, information, and the phenotype is its observable characteristics.

The potential similarity or difference between family members depends largely on other factors. Theoretically, a child's genes should be a mixture of equal parts of parental genes. But approximately one child in twenty experiences gene mutations: part of the genetic material of such children differs from the gene sets of their parents.

According to Hiro, the appearance of the lines on the palm is due to the action of a nervous fluid, more mysterious than electricity, which spreads from the brain to the palm and fingers, which contain more nerve endings than any other part of the body.

William J. Benham writes in his Laws of Scientific Hand-reading that life currents are emitted from an external source and penetrate the body, that is, life is given and taken away by some omnipotent force located outside the person.

The lines are formed by brain cells acting through blood vessels and nerves. The imprint of nature on the palms may be due to the functioning of the subconscious, which is a repository of past accumulated desires, impressions and actions that relate to numerous previous births.

Dominant and passive hands

The human brain is divided into left and right hemispheres. The hemispheres are very similar to each other; the right hemisphere controls the left side of the body, and the left hemisphere controls the right. The right hemisphere is inferior to the left in some respects, such as language and speech. The left hemisphere of the brain is responsible for thinking and judgment, which are the highest human qualities.

A palmist should study both hands. In right-handed people, the right hand, primarily used at work, tells the story of the present, developed personal qualities and the ability to act in life, and the left hand demonstrates innate tendencies, talents, desires and inclinations. For left-handed people the opposite is true: their left hand is active and detects the present, while their right hand is associated with inherited tendencies. A working woman's right hand should be studied in order to determine her professional growth. The main source of information about the fate of housewives is their left hand. Marriage lines should be read on the left hand of men, and on the right hand by women.

The left hand of children under 14 years of age should be studied to assess their inclinations, talents and potential abilities. Until the age of thirty, the left hand is especially important, and before making any judgment, it is necessary to consult it.

Every feature of the human body contains a certain meaning, and the lines on the hand are no exception. A person's character can be determined by his hand, head, ears and other parts of the body, as well as by the lines on his palm, which predict the main events of his life. Just as an anthropologist can determine from a piece of bone or tooth the age of the person to whom the bone or tooth belonged, a zoologist can determine what a dead animal looked like, a botanist can grow a plant from a stem or leaf without having the seed of this plant, a doctor can diagnose a disease through clinical examination. studies of the patient’s tongue, pulse, breathing and other physiological symptoms, and palmistry can tell a lot about a person’s personality by the shape of his hands and the patterns on them.

Just as different people differ from each other, so the lines on the palm, down to the smallest details, do not match for one person out of 100 million.

When reading a palm, you should always look at all the signs: thumb mound, skin texture, thumb length, thumb stiffness, finger length, finger stiffness, fingerprints, palm prints, major and minor lines (including minor marks). You should start with the hill at the thumb, then move on to the skin structure, then examine the thumb, determine the length of the fingers, check the prints, ending with the study of the secondary lines. All signs must be studied sequentially.

If you stretch out your hand, you can more or less clearly see various lines and signs on it. Some palmists sometimes work with a palm print, rather than with the palm itself - this practice has become widespread during remote sessions, when the hand cannot be seen directly, and the specialist is sent either a photograph or a scanned image of the palm. The effectiveness of such a remote method is no less than when working “live”, therefore, if possible, it is advisable to always take a photo of the palm being examined, since in this case you will be able to work in your own mode, not limited by the time frame of a direct audience.

So which hand should you examine? Usually books on palmistry say that the future is reflected on the right hand (if the person is right-handed), and the past is reflected on the left hand. The active (dominant) hand (for example, the right hand of a right-handed person) is an expression of the external personality, where the built, conscious, real reflection of the personality is located. Usually on the active hand the lines are clearer and more pronounced. This occurs because people tend to pay more attention to and focus more on their active, everyday experiences than on reflection.

The passive hand is the subconscious, reflective, intimate Self. The grievances and joys of childhood and the influence of parents are hidden here. The characteristics of the passive hand are often not obvious: they are revealed only in personal experience.

You should always study both hands and compare them constantly. The greater the difference between them, the more a person changes and develops. Over time, both hands change.

If a person has equal control of both hands (ambidextrous), the mobility of the thumbs should be compared: you need to pull each of them from the index finger towards the wrist. The hand with the less mobile thumb is the active one.

Medical scientists admit that ambidextrous people, to a greater extent than right-handed people, train their brain, which leads to an increase in the number of gray cells in it. Their corpus callosum (the nerve ganglia that connects the right and left hemispheres of the brain) is about 11% larger than that of right-handers. A person's ability to use both hands equally can be an added advantage in many creative fields, as well as sports. Famous ambidexters include such names as Leonardo Da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Paul McCartney, Benjamin Franklin, Keanu Reeves and others.

The shape of the palm indirectly indicates the type of personality, as well as the type of body structure. The parts of the finger (phalanx) correspond to the length of the limbs. People with wide, heavy hands and short fingers tend to be stocky and have short arms and legs. Those with long fingers and narrow, flat palms tend to be more flexible and have longer limbs.

Hills in the palm are ruled by various planets and zodiac signs, which can influence a person in this way.

Influence of planets on the palm

To correctly read a hand, it is necessary to determine which hand a person has is the dominant one - right or left. It is in the palm of the dominant hand that the main characteristics and personal properties of people given to them from birth are displayed.

Part of the potential inherent in us is also shown on the other hand, traditionally considered as the “hand of origin”. Here you can see signs relating to the person's own family or his parents, as well as other marks that complement the information of the dominant hand.

Most people (about 90% of the world's population) are right-hand dominant. At the same time, left-handers very often have specific personality traits, since the dominant hand has a great influence on a person’s development - due to its connection with one of the hemispheres of the brain.

Human speech is associated with the functioning of the left hemisphere of the brain, which controls the activity of the right side of the body: when a child begins to speak, this automatically entails more frequent use of the right hand.

But in reality, the right and left hemispheres of the human brain constantly interact, especially when it comes to speech.

Research shows that human speech is intricately linked to the use of gestures. In a conversation, only 7% of information is conveyed in words - more than half of the information communicated is absorbed by the interlocutors precisely thanks to body language: even blind people use gestures in conversation. A ban on gesturing leads to disruption of communication and thinking processes.

From a genetic point of view, the probability of right-handed parents having a left-handed child is about 10%. If one of the parents is left-handed, then the chances of a left-handed child being born increases to 20%, and if both parents are left-handed, then the probability of having a left-handed child increases to 26%.

Some scientific theories link the occurrence of left-handedness to the way a baby is handled (for example, when a mother holds a child, she uses her left hip for balance) or traditions accepted in some countries (the ban on using one or the other hand while eating).

Left- and right-handed people have different fingerprint patterns. Left-handers are characterized by simpler patterns with a predominance of arcs and curls; They also have ray and radial loops more often. Such loops are located in the center of the fingertip and look like a Latin letter u with a tilt towards the little finger. These loops also occur in some right-handers, but people with radial loops are twice as likely to be left-handed.

When reading the hand of a left-handed person, you will have to change the rules somewhat, since initially we are dealing with a creative person. At the same time, left-handed people are more susceptible to dyslexia, stuttering, autism, schizophrenia, immune diseases, migraines, allergies, eczema, as well as some diseases associated with mental retardation. However, there are many more architects, engineers, mathematics teachers, writers, actors, astronauts, professional chess players, inventors, athletes, musicians and other celebrities among left-handers than among right-handers.

When reading the hand of a right-handed person, you should first look at both palms and determine the differences between them. If the lines on the right hand, for example, appear deeper and more distinct, this means that the individual is living life to the fullest and using at least some of his natural talents. For a left-handed person, such a sign will be pronounced lines on the left hand.

Many short lines on the lower part of the left hand (for a right-handed person) in the area of the wrist and small “branches” extending from the Life line along its entire length often mean a difficult childhood. If these small lines are absent on the right, dominant hand, it means that the person was able to overcome the obstacles he encountered in his early years.

Often the arrangement of lines on the left and right palms differs significantly. For example, on one hand certain lines may come together near the thumb, while on the other hand they are separated by a significant distance. In a right-handed person, converging lines on the left hand can mean innate conservatism. But, having matured, in certain circumstances he will be ready to face danger face to face. To determine the reasons for these changes, you need to look at other signs on the hand.
